.. to add do you not then also look all around your house after shooting and even go outside away from the"danger" to look for your loved one but automatically break down a door (how do you know the person behind that door has been hit unless you HEARD them cry out) - Factually his story has no credibility with me anymore after his counsel has conceded that the first shot was to the hip and that she did scream (according to multiple witness testimony) - I also am battling with the idea that he was very quick to think it was an intruder but just so quick to decide it was Reeva (how did he know this without first going outside his home or even downstairs to see if she was there). Did he not think Reeva might have run downstairs from the danger as any normal person would(she was not armed so flight would be an option)
Taken from his bail application
Reeva was not responding. When I reached the bed, I realised that Reeva was not in bed.
"That is when it dawned on me that it could have been Reeva who was in the toilet.
I returned to the bathroom calling her name. I tried to open the toilet door but it was locked.
I rushed back into the bedroom and opened the sliding door exiting onto the balcony and screamed for help.
I put on my prosthetic legs, ran back to the bathroom and tried to kick the toilet door open.
I think I must then have turned on the lights."

I see he says he "called" her name - I wonder how loud that was as nobody heard that but did hear her screams

The recent posts are about his credibility-the most significant for me was the attitude of his "friends" who knew him best.
I felt that their percieved disloyalty was based on the fact that they, who know him best, do not believe it was an accident!!

WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, WHAT ARE THE EXACT DIMENSIONS OF THE BATHROOM/TOILET, WAS THERE ANYWHERE A PERSON COULD HIDE OR STAND AND NOT BE HIT BY A BULLET BEING FIRED AT RANDOM THROUGH THE DOOR, IF THERE IS NOWWHERE TO HIDE, OP HAD TO KNOW THE BULLETS WOULD HIT WHOEVER WAS IN THE BATHROOM/TOILET WHEN HE FIRED THE SHOTS, SO WHETHER HE KNEW IT WAS REEVA OR A BUGLAR, THE INTENTION WAS TO KILL. WITH THE TYPE OF AMMO IN THE GUN, HE HAD TO KNOW WHAT THE CONSEQUENCES WOULD BE WHEN THE BULLET STRUCK A HUMAN BEING, SO AGAIN THE INTENTION TO KILL OR TOTALLY INCAPACITATE THE PERSON, WAS THERE, NO MATTER WHO HE THOUGHT WAS BEHIND THE DOOR.

I watched almost all of the court proceedings last night. I am still yawning.
The pathologist was not as good as expected. He left some gaps in his evidence that Mr Nel exploited. We also saw glimpses of what lies ahead for OP when Mr Nel gets hold of him under cross examination
My fear is that Mr Nel is so anxious to get to OP, that he will rush things. Yesterday, he often interupted the pathologist. That is not good style. OP was crying in his opening statement. I predict a whole lot of crying in the days to come.
OP only has to stick to his original story to be the victor. He is the only witness. The circumstantial evidence is not that strong. If he does not break down and change his version dramatically, the court will have no option to find his version reasonably possibly true
Having said that, Mr Nel will not give him a joyride and we will probably see many concessions by OP in the coming days.
My prediction (right or wrong) is that more people will hire Nel after the cross examination than Roux
