Real men do not vent their insucrities on a woman.
OP, achieved a lot but my view is that he could not have a beautiful woman walk away from him. His ego could not handle something like this.
A case of, "I decide when you go".
This guy is egocentric.
His lawyer should pursue the psychoanalysis option.
I put it to you that my client was not in a normal state of mind when he intentionally got hold of his gun, loaded with bullets , designed to do extreme damage, and then failed to ensure that his loved one was safe, first, before blindly disengaging 4 deadly bullets at the bathroom/toilet door.
It is often said, that the Law is an ass. SA law takes it to another level.

If the defence fails to prove that she was shot in the head first then he's gone (or if they can't get OP to wail like a girl then gone because if she made any sound then ....)

my opinion he will be found guelty of murder
he had the option to stop shooting after she started screaming when he shot her the first time , she fell , she screamed and he started shooting again ....

Is this still on ?? When is the verdict ?? Throw him in jail for arrogance and ego that led to murder...If she wasn't shot in the head first, she most certainly screamed when initial bullet/s were fired or struck her and then to continue shooting would be callous and cruel and as cold-blooded as it gets...just short of shooting the person in front of you...
Very very sad...

I was wondering since the prosecution did not call Hilton Botha because they were scared of BR questioning him if the defense will call him but treat him as a "hostile witness"
what do you think, if they call him will it strengthen the defense case and weakening the states case?

I would agree with this 100% ..........until the first defence witness testifies that the head shot was the last one..................interesting where defence is going with this!
