My theories and all based on assumption is -

1)He thought there was an intruder, he felt vulnerable and tried to protect himself.

2)They had an argument, which got physical(the mark on her chest), she fledt to the bathroom, locked herself in and frantically called for help. He then tried beating down the door with the cricket bat. She told him to stop and that she was gonna call for help. He lost his temper, fetched the gun and fired a shot through the door, unfortunately it hit R in the hip, now panicking, he fired 3 more shots to ensure there are are no witnesses, because he didn't want any media hype drawn to him.

A tragic lovers quarrel.

It is said that if an intruder breaks into your home it is best to ensure that they can't talk back coz you might be left with a lot more questions to answer if you assault or wound them. You decide.......

Yes very surprised that BR did not challenge or put pressure on the cross examination of the ballistics evidence....and as I said in an above thread he must have faith in his own expert that could give evidence to the contrary....I'm also not sure that the way that the ballistics evidence was presented was accurate at all.....the 2 trajectory down ward angles don't add up to Oscar being on stumps yet the states evidence confirmed that they found he could have been on stumps.....the 4 shot angles are erratic and thus could have been fired in panic or deliberately angles changed to pinpoint a kill shot....::o

A really sad and tragic situation.

A man who has overcome his disability to take on the world, then mistakenly, or intentionally takes a life.

I lean towards the speculation, that there was an argument, prior to the shooting.

Interpreting what I have read about OP, his personality borders on sociopathic tendencies. People with this behaviourial problem switch in an instant, from smiling and charming to total rage and aggressive behaviour.

There is no denying that the life of a beautiful and vibrant woman has been taken, and has left her family devastated.

Some sort of punishment will be in order.

I often wonder what moral compass guides lawyers. I put it to you Mr BR.

The thing that strikes me most is how unreliable a jury trial must be.......................there are some incredibly subtle issues that have to be understood by people of all walks of life.
If I was guilty I would want a jury ,to give myself a fighting chance of fooling the "crowd".....................if I was innocent I would want a qualified judge and 2 assessors!!

case extended to mid May, O's house is going on sale to pay legal fees, question is what happens if the case drags even longer and BR becomes too expensive for the accused?

Rob I go for IDOT, he is trying to discredit this witness and she will not budge as did a few before her
in my opinion the "private people" was better than, excepts the last 2 guys how she was shot and blood expert, than the state'e so called expert witnesses
