Hassen Adams calls it quits...

Michael Clower
Darryl Hodgson has been fined R10 000 for his part in the Magic Feet wrong horse fiasco at Kenilworth on November 6 but Hassen Adams is adamant that his private trainer has been made a scapegoat and he intends to “fight it all the way.”
He said: “I agree that Darryl should have been fined, but only R1000 - the normal for when a trainer brings the wrong horse.
The National Horseracing Authority has a system of checks and balances which should have resulted in its staff identifying that this was not Magic Feet before she ran.
“The NHA’s [subsequently sacked] Horse Identifier did not scan the filly properly and she then wrote the markings on the passport to make them match the horse. To fine Darryl R10 000 for the NHA’s mistake is ridiculous and I’m going to appeal against it. If I have to, I will take this to the highest court in the land - and, if I lose there, I will get out of racing.”
they brought the wrong horse to the track but are not willing to take the blame, are they bigger than the game?

when it comes down to it the trainer has to make sure the horse he recieves is the horse he was meant to recieve...
Passports have to be checked properley

Guys would you accept a Ferrari with a skoda engine? Just because the dealer said it was ? Remember the nhra never sent the wrong horse to the track , the trainer did

The first person at fault is THE TRAINER OR STUD MANAGER - He is not a scapegoat but a person that sent a "goat" to the track thinking it was a "sheep" - Adams should rather look carefully at his Trainer/Stud Manager and work out if he is professional or not- The NHRA has dealt with the identifier but they now need to deal with the person that interviewed and appointed this lady - Adams needs to deal with his TRAINER and or STUD MANAGER
