No replays on Tellytrack and they showed Kenilworth twice this morning, but no sign of Turfies.

Not the best quality and no head on, but the head on only shows NO interference

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a) NORDIC STORM (K Zechner) and STEPHEN (R Munger) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: (LN)

a) JET SAILOR (R Simons) was difficult to settle in the early and middle stages.
b) Shortly after the start NORDIC STORM (K Zechner) became unbalanced when clipping the heels of QUERARI VIKING (S Brown) which jumped in.
Leaving the 300m NORDIC STORM had to steady off the heels of QUERARI VIKING which shifted in away from the crop resulting in NORDIC STORM losing momentum and having to switch out to continue its run.
A race review was called by Trainer M G Azzie on behalf of the 2nd placed horse (NORDIC STORM) with the presence of Jockey K Zechner, which was followed by an objection being lodged by Jockey K Zechner the rider of the 2nd placed horse (NORDIC STORM) against the winner QUERARI VIKING (S Brown) on the grounds of taking up his running shortly after the start and interference suffered by NORDIC STORM leaving the 300m.
The Objection Board, after hearing all the evidence and viewing the patrol films of the race, were of the opinion that had NORDIC STORM (K Zechner) not suffered the interference caused by QUERARI VIKING (S Brown), NORDIC STORM would have finished in front of QUERARI VIKING and therefore upheld the Objection. The result was amended to read as follows:
1st 13 NORDIC STORM K Zechner
2nd 7 QUERARI VIKING S Brown
3rd 8 FLYING FOOL G Lerena
4th 5 KING OF CLOTH *M Mjoka
5th 6 HAPPY KING J Sampson

Is it possible that a 'senior' stipe cannot pronounce the name of a very well known Sire in SA? Really...? Shows you what he knows......

An absolute disgrace! If this idiot is not fired I give up...again. lol

Being upset with the decision is one thing but watch in the interview went Andrew bon was hilarious , how does a stupid moron like this hold this position .cannot pronounce the horses name , kept stopping bonski when he questions him yet he said he wants to be transparent , this guy should not ever be involved in those racing , surely he got this position cos of the quota system and may have never even punted or know anything of this billion rand industry , yet he is in the position to cripple punters with his outrageous attitude and confirmed stupidity ...It seems the stipes were out in full force from Saturday , even yesterday and now today in pe .cannot wait for the vaal tomorrow ...will this idiot be sitting in the stipes office tomorrow awaiting an azzie second to promote to first ...wtf are we deal in with .....

I spoke to my trainers today and from now on IF we back a horse NO MATTER where it runs we are objecting.

We should in theory never back a loser again, granted the brown envelopes are gonna cost a bit but hey what the heck

a winner is a winner…..

Exactly , all owners and trainers should object as soon as race over .remember a horse drawn 16 in grey ville and will cross the field to come over to the rails will obviously impede the field as he will be crossing them and have the horses behind him clipping heels etc ...and as long as thulani is in charge then get on ..lol
