What is worse is they are messing with probably the best trainer in SA and the most legendary. The man will make em regret their incompetence I am sure. I really feel for Mr Feraris

When you believe you are bigger than the game it will quickly put you in your place...having watched this again in conjunction with the "punters' confrontation of this stipe" video I am certain this man should not be involved with Racing control.

Based on this result and outcome of this objection, no horse running in gauteng will be safe from demotion. No doubt the worst decision I have ever seen.
Then, watching this interview makes me very sad for racing in south africa that people who don't have b the ability to effectively communicate, can be relied upon to make decisions where so much money is involved.

Just sad.

That guy has a worse job than a Trump advisor trying to put a spin on the decision. The decision wasn't incompetence, the mere fact that an experienced jock has even reviewed such an incident(or lack there of) clearly points to the fact that this all came down to money. I'd have much preferred an interview with Azzie or Zechner telling us why they even objected in the first place.

Who insisted on the objection......jockey or trainer - that is the question ! not who actually lodged it.

Mr Thulani said "Come on Monday to my offices and I will show you the video tape and how we got to our decision." (paraphrased)...

Any chance anyone will go? Or will security guards and the investigation case stop anyone from probing further?

After watching the interview and replay, even I as a novice horseracing goer can tell you that I smell a big RAT.........and the Rats name is money, whether it be the jockey, the trainer or the stipes, I don't know...the owners I don't think would be concerned about a few rands seeing they are multi millionaires.... Reading that there is allegedly sound info on how the three stipes voted, I think it is imperative to find out the voting order of the stipes....abstaining is just NOT an OPTION, you are either for or against the objection.........gentleman if that's how objections can be upheld on the evidence of that race......bye bye horseracing...
