Objection Ruling.

Is today's objection ruling in race 1 not a good case for possibly changing the objection rule to one which mirrors a jury ruling in a court case.

The result should not be changed unless it is a unanimous decision?

Maybe first change the rules so they are completely clear -- the Punter should not need a crystal ball to know which side of the bed the panel got up on to know if the objection will be upheld or not. If the various objections upheld or not were shown side by side from the last few years nobody could with any certainty predict the outcome...The stipes are as consistent as the view in a kaleidoscope

todays ruling was an absolute joke...and the stipe erred badly...this is racing in South africa...punters have power oh yes...boycott punting for a week and see how they achieve their pools...

This is an absolutely shocking decision and those stripes should be fired that would be the fairest outcome for all.

Saying this decision is disgraceful is being too kind :sick:

I sure hope the stipes are reading what has been said about them.Personally I think they are an absolute disgrace to racing and we(or whoever can)should have a vote of no confidence in them.How can they be right and the majority wrong?I agree with Venodh boycott the tote until we get properly trained people to run our game.

About 5 years ago I decided to just not have an opinion on objections in SA anymore,it was just too frustrating.

In this instance,I must say I really can't see how on earth they came to the conclusion that the race should be taken away.

Racing Control executive Arnold Hyde has confirmed that an enquiry will be opened in regard to the objection race 1 Turffontein

Exactly, why not have the enquiry before the all clear for race 1
