I fancy the more experienced Marwing on French Navy.

Can finish 2nd to Mambo Mime :)

If they crawl they won't live with his last 400m

Here is my early elimination list

1) Mac de lago - not with that weight and draw
2) Abashiri - do not fancy it with the weight and running style
3) Black Arthur - Dougie Whyte is a good jockey but from that draw, my fear is too much of the horse will be used. Delpech made the right move by staying with Bela Bela (draw a huge plus)
4) Rabada - Too much will have to go his way. No favours in the July
5) Marinesco - The hype horse unfortunately is not a Dynasty and I can't see him winning from such a poor draw on a very tight track.
6) The Conglomerate - has not shown me anything to deserve a place in this line up
7) Dynamic - I cant see this one in the first 4
8) Saratoga Dancer - just making up the numbers

I think the key to this race is Anton Marcus,he is a master tactician of pace and the way the races have been run recently at Greyville I think it will be a slow pace if Marcus gets his mount to the front he can go all the way depending on what he rides though. My fancy is Solid Speed from Mambo Mine.

My original thought on the July was to a bookie friend and when legal eagle and ABBA were topping the boards I said to him just write tickets
I still have no Igugu feelings and will certainly have bigger bets on the day elsewhere have a feel for Bela Bela but need a few in any perms however a few that I can't have .....more to follow

Made my decision quite a while back and bad draws won't change my mind. Great horses win from anywhere. Pomodoro won it from 20 and he was no world beater.

Black Arthur and Marinaresco. Draw 17 and 19. The hype is real this time.\\

I'll be doing in depth write-ups for these two fellas near July day. Keep a look out if you want to be convinced. ;)

Solid Speed. Loves Greyville, well in at the weights and well drawn. Looks a massive runner to me.

Very little form between the 3 year olds and older horses so very difficult to assess how good they are. I still like It's My Turn, won the Derby well and ran an excellent second in the daily news off a slow pace. Won't have a problem staying.

I will be floating these two in the quarter and dutching them.

Plenty of horses under severe sufference in this race and plenty I have drawn a line through.

I think a bad draw is definitely a bigger disadvantage since the introduction of the Poly track
