Blinkers might sharpen him up. Was very disappointed with his last run and 2200 might be a touch far.

My personal opinion regarding Futura...can't run in the 1st four!! It has proved nothing and run against nothing! Just my opinion...(:P) Everything about Futura is "hear-say"...he needs to prove itself on the track first! He might just be a good handicapper, no one knows coz there is no form to get excited about (regarding who it ran against and who it beat)...anyway, good luck guys...may you ALL find a winner!! (:P)(tu)

Cape Town Noir - dark horse...has strengthened up and might be looking for this distance now that he is older...blinkers first time...if he settles, will be running on. Dean K and Karl also HOT at the moment! (:P)

at least when Jackson was talked up he won the Cape Derby - Futura has not shown that he should even be in that field

This is what makes horse racing so interesting, we all have different opinions and most of us will be proven wrong come race time. IMO Espumanti will not finish ahead of COTT, she has only finished ahead of COTT in the Empress Club Stakes when COTT was coming off a break. Now has to give COTT weight. Even with the draws I believe COTT will finish ahead of her.

I can't see COTT finishing in front of Espumanti...Espumanti is only now coming into her own and matured properly (remembering that she is 6 months behind all the others) She beat the boys EASILY last time, something which COTT has never done in her career before. Espumanti is also looking for further now and is still on the up...then of course the Mike De Kock factor...I think some value for 1st 4 places...! Don't think COTT will be suited to Greyville neither. (:P)(tu)

I cannot see Futura finishing in front of Captain America on the weights, no idea why Jock picked that one

Anybody knows minus the VJH and da '13th race' how many other races will b run on turf?
