Agree, open look and very limited formlines between the 3 year olds and older horses. Interesting too with only 16 runners this year.

Futura will be outright favourite ! The inside draw plus the 2kg's he gets from the 3yo's will contribute to this !

The only formline I have picked up was the J & B

Where Red Ray was subsequently beaten by his older rivals receiving weight

6 3yr olds, one being a filly - given the draws, not impossible that they will be the first 6 past the post :S

Futura imo will need them to go a right gallop to get involved, and i cant see any horse that will go crazy upfront

There is not one horse in the race that you could put a line through

Usually a good pace in the July so as long as they don't do as slow as they did last time it won't be a problem. He handles the course as he showed in the 1900 consolation and won in a quicker time than Espmanti. If he is better than Captain America like the yard thinks who is about 2 lengths behind Legislate, he is getting 3kg's for being at worst 2 lengths inferior. Massive runner now and the 7/1 available looks a gift, will definately start much shorter than that come raceday.
