@ 6/1 and with proven world class 20/20 players I cant see past the West Indies to win it again.

sa playing now did my money on the aus to win we dont have the fire power.

WI playing a clueless England team and the strangle was on yesterday until Sammy "mishit" () a few for boundaries...

Any team can be competitive over 20 overs so expect the odd funny result...but surely a sub-continent team to win due to their excellence in those conditions...

T20 cricket has attracted a hellava lot of non - cricket lovers due to the short nature/action packed game format. The powers that be have grown their audience by not being short sighted.
I agree its not real cricket but great fun to watch the bowlers being smacked around the ground!

How about the batsmen get smacked about a little??...every change in the sport in the last ?? years had been directed at improving things for batsmen...better bats, shorter boundaries, bowling restrictions, fielding restrictions, placid wickets, two balls in ODI, etc...bowler still uses a bowl that weighs 156-163 grams and that has been the only constant over an extended period in the sport...

Result has been a period in which there has been the highest number of players with 50+ averages in test cricket...and bowling averages have gone higher and higher (and that's what makes Dale Steyn's achievements all the more remarkable...)...

Who's fooling whom ??
