I have no idea why Yuvraj Singh is still in the India line up. He cant buy a run for all the money in the world. India apply the best mates system when selecting their teams

It's still very caste driven...

Many years ago, Vinod Kambli (of "low" caste) was excelling in the Indian team and outshining others, including Tendulkar, of "superior" caste...two double centuries in his first few matches and yet only played 17 Tests for India and "retired" at age 24

Caste and "class" play a vital role in many aspects of life in India and "class" is becoming an ever-increasing feature around the world...

Straight forward win for the Indians but I cant see either of these teams coming close to the West Indies.

Agree with you on this on. He bowls 1 over for 13 drops an easy catch and scores 1 run. Great all round performance. (td)

Something quite wrong. I was fluking Yuvi when he dropped that catch and then Dhoni when he bought him onto bowl.

I do disagree that the West Indies will whip India this was a quality performance by the Indians today and the Windies blow hot and cold and will have to be on the top of their game to beat them. Tough group to get through.

Taken the double to be the top scorers for their respective countries :-

De Kock X B. McCullum

All the best...staying out of first match...odds not enough to sway heart over head...

Agree re: NZ though a word of caution as NZ spinners / slow bowlers not at same level as what Eng have faced of late...Eng have the players to take on "donkey-drop" bowlers...

@ TN, I agree with you regards the NZ spinners. England have very capable batsmen, I wouldn't read too much into their series losses against Australia and West Indies, both were away series and the home teams are expected to dominate anyway - the kind of stuck in a rut scenarios. No doubt they are disappointed as it is always good having (winning) momentum going into any tournament, but I wouldn't say the not without a chance today. Betting on the outcome of this match, I'll stay away from that department.

T20 is worse than throwing darts at a board so it could pay to follow teams that are between 1/1 and 2/1 for the entire tournament...only need 1 in 2 / 1 in 3 to win to at least break-even over the entire tournament so worth the follow...

And seeing the tournament so far, teams seem to be coming up short in 1ST inning with wicket staying good for entire match...also impact of due at night helps team batting second..

So, my stategy is to see the toss and if team batting second starts off between 1/1 and 2/1, I'll take a standalone bet and follow this method the entire tournament...
