Nel is amazing.............these experienced experts getting taken apart .............. reducing them to being very defensive and jittery!

Will the honorable M'Lady send OP for psychiatric evaluation? That means spending 30 days minimum in a loony bin. That in itself will be torture for dear OP. He will return a scarred man

Would you oppose that if he was your client Haupie? I would not unless I knew that he would be found competent to stand trial

If I understand it correctly, if Nel gets a conviction, this witness's assessment of GAD would be grounds for appeal, so state needs to eliminate, or beat, the diminished responsibility defence now!

Nevermind appeal, Nel needs to take OP diminished capacity off the table now.
This may or may not work in OP favour. If it is ruled that OP had a disorder that affected his judgement then it will help him.
Roux had to take a chance on this defence and the psychiatrist. He was out of options.
