@ blueyonder...I feel that after what the judge said that he is in big trouble..she said something along the lines that the evidence might indicate he is not telling the truth but if he says he doesn't know then Nel must stop asking him that question..that gave me a strong feeling she is already taking a negative view on his defense...I might be wrong but I don't think I am

The defense has not objected enough at all, they have left it to the Judge to intervene..maybe they have given up..who knows

Yes I must say if Seagul is correct in his comment about Roux taking the case as a family friend then I can understand their passive approach to the way Nel is going at Oscar

Oscar you make a very valid statement. But think about it, maybe Roux is happy with the way things are going? I think he has realised that the best he can do for OP is Culp.

Mr Nel is doing a great job with OP and has succeeded in destroying most if his credibility. Whether he will succeed in gettin OP to admit 'INTENT is something I doubt will happen.

OP has said he did not give whoever was in the toilet a chance to escape. He admitted it could have been a child, woman, robber or unarmed person behind the door.

However, every time he has been asked why he discharged the firearm, he said he was not thinking. That to me, is not intent.

Mr Nel used the word reckless yesterday. Yes OP was reckless, but still that does not prove intent, which is required for murder.

Mr Roux will start objecting when OP starts admitting intent to kill.

Just my views especially after yesterday's round

Oscars lies are really getting quite boring and predictable now - i am really disappointed in his level of honesty for someone who the whole nation looked up to. He is a brave/stupid man to blatanty lie under oath with absolutely no effort to reveal the truth. There is One whom he must fear and his name is not Gerrie. Good nite Oscar its race over for you.
