I stand corrected...I think they get to re-direct once Nel says "No more questions, my lady"...and can only cover things (new evidence) arising from the cross-examination not cover ground they did when they first examined him...

So if Nel says No Further Question and Barry Roux gets up and says no Further Questions it means Case Closed.. ??

no because Roux still has to lead his expert witnesses and the neighbours that did not hear what the state's witnesses heard and his biggest witness would more than likely be a shrink to confirm the "vulnerable" nature of OP(going to be funny that testimony considering that Mark Batchelor was in court today and anyone that has the balls to threaten to "break his legs" as OP did to him is not "vulnerable" at all) - Oscar is as Nel puts it a LIAR

Means no more questions for OP...but Barry Roux can still call other defence witnesses to show reasonable doubt about each of the charges...

Roux took the case as he is a family friend of Uncle Arnold, plus a case like this is very very good for his bank balance.

@Seagull..thanks...makes sense that he did it to help a friend as, based on what has been revealed, it wasn't purely on the merits of the case...
