He is guilty but he might get away with it or be guilty of a lesser charge like culpable homicide.
The man took on the IOC and proved he could compete with ablebody athletes and did.
Its shows how strong willed he is. All his lawyer has to prove is that because of his disability
He acted before thinking

He is on record saying he regards himself as "normal" - His disability, unless it is a mental disability, had zero to do with firing through a sun roof or accidentally firing a gun in a restaurant(under the table no less - would ANY reasonable man do this?) This person obviously thinks guns are toys and now he has found out that they do kill if used by incompetent people. I still cannot understand why he did not search the rest of the house and the outside before he decided to break down the door - Further when there was another "noise" in his flat on a previous occasion he did awake his sleeping partner(miss Taylor) and did walk around the house to check without firing shots. One thing is certain we are all safer now as he will never be allowed to own a gun again!!

Just busy at work.
Heard on ecr that
apparently somebody did the test in America and placed sound cameras at different distances to see if it can be heard, the cricket bat vs gun shot noise
Someone check it out on the site and maybe post results.
Have a good day

Do search for "cricket bat vs gun shot noise test results"
Pointless test (scenario of that particular night cannot be replicated)...sounds are distinct and time interval between sounds do not correlate with time it takes to swing a bat...and if OP was on stumps, further difficulty with balancing while trying to strike at door with / generate sufficient force to make sound loud enough to be compared to gun shot...

oops
they sound very similar to me
I just tested my missus and she was convinced that the second batch of sounds (on the video without images) was the bat on door.
Test someone on your side without letting them see the images and lets see what sort of results we get.
I had some sound issues with the american guy speaking but stick with it the sounds of bat on door and gunshots are clear later on in the video.
