Very interesting.
I take it that you are a seasoned jockey or perhaps a trainer or a stipe.
I feel that most of us that have posted on this topic are not qualified to comment because I for one have never sat on a horse and have no idea how horses re-act to being whipped.
We also have no idea what instructions were given to Andrew. It might even be that the horse does not respond to be whipped and then what.

mr titch i dont rely on jockey for tips or have to stick up for them like you,i lick no man or jockeys ass for tips,just remember that,i never backed that horse so i am not talking out my pocket,i dont like seeing ppl getting taken on,this is a dying game, things like this is killing it more

spoken like a true child really Savas you need to grow up my mate...anyone who knows their racing will tell you that listening to jockeys information will stick you clean out in double quick time maybe when you have experienced a little more time in the game you will understand...until then it is 8:30 and past your bedtime

its incredible how many cowards we have as soon as a jock comes on here they think the lord has spoken and they bow down to him but 24 hours ago they were asking for him to be beheaded....whats wrong boys u think you going to be let out of the next graft that comes along....

Pirates, compare Andrew to the operators!
Andrew didn't have to come explain himself but he felt he gave the horse every chance and came on the forum to defend his case!
Then you have the rest of us that complain day in and out about the state of racing, the tote manipulation, the vet bill etc, yet none of the operators has come forward with a logical explanation/solution!
Like I said in my post Andrew needs to commit more to his riding but I also respect him for giving his side of the story.

Andrew I commend you for having the courage to state you side of the story.....however it is only a story that you concocted to bamboozle the stipes...IMO you could of won the race if you rode the horse with more zest or vigour from the 200m mark
