The correct colour cap will go to the horse whose names appears first in the race when going down carded numbers.ie.

5. Safwan (correct cap)
6. Igugu (any other nominated colour)

This is how it should be race time.

JD that is what I also thought with 1 being lowest and 16 being highest number in the race. The correct cap would go to number 1.

OK guys my last word on this as well. I have watched again as well and even after Andrews post ( if its him or someone posting for him) i still believe he should have won that race.As posted by Rob Faux earlier lets not all be so adamant that this was crookery or whatever you want to call it. this in my opinion was just a bad error of judgement on Andrews behalf and maybe he should just admit it and say this was just a bad ride . There have been many poor rides from mant jocks before and there are going to be plenty more. Sometimes its better just to admit your mistake and make sure it dosnt happen again. (wishfull thinking maybe) . Mudslinging gets us nowhere. Lets see if the authorities have anything to say.(again wishfull thinking)

This s@t happen every day of the week & and all we say is we got Smithed, Millered ect and thats the end of it. So we got Plattnered. What the heck. Maybe it is just such a big deal now because of Fortune. Anyway, all this fuss just proves one thing to me. Racing (crooked or not) will never die, no matter what anybody say. THERE IS JUST TO MUCH PASSION FOR THIS GAME.
Do not follow where the path may lead.
Go to where there is no path.....
AND LEAVE A TRAIL

@Hibs

Pehaps AF thought he was riding in the UK!
only 3 smacks.

AF has always been complimented by trainers regarding his horsemanship.Trainer Y Gov has enough experince now,and he can choose any jock,but still has confidence in this top weight.Must spell something.

Even if Yogas was in Durban it is fair to believe that he would have watched the race

im sure he did watch
in fact i am sure he had a few rand on his runners for the day and went home with enough money to get a 2 piece mash and gravy...lol
good luck to them all
i dont give a rats arse who does what but when the public get handled then who stands up for them.........there is no small punters voice around ...............say 250 people all had R6 or R24 trifectas or qtets with him banker- who voices their opinions ........not a sole and they the ones putting the money back into racing stakes and indirectly into those same jock pockets for commission earned for places/wins etc. The numbers make up the game not the Rich, they play with bookies over 70% of the time....... ive been racing for over 25 years and i love it but im slowly losing interest in these cape cards cos the crap that goes on.......sons and dads , anuties and uncles and who knows, even tarry sponsored by a bookmaker ----there is so much that leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
