Was hoping the Bass camp would nominate Trip of Fortune. Hasn't been further than a mile at this stage but was super impressive in the Horse Chestnut. Pretty sure we haven't seen the best of him yet !

set to 110 after win over the week end
Pacaya and Quasiforsure although rated, 104, if either of them win the Greyville 1900, the rating will only go up to 110. Definitely the ones to keep an eye out for if they get the distance.
Quasiforsure good win on Saturday and his rating will go up for sure - maybe around 110/111 - big difference though between 1400 and 2200
I see also that some people put more faith in the official ratings than me - See It Again (as mentioned before on official ratings he should be carrying 58 - but the max for a 3 yr-old is 57) is now down to 10/1 on some sites

Kommetdieding and Quasiforsure share the same third dam, Riding Light. Jury is still out to get the 2200m though.
See It Again could be anything over distance as it is related to Do It Again. Definitely a horse that is crying out for a longer trip.

The KZN Guineas may at least give us some pointers - will be hoping that we can place See It Again in a realistic place ito Ratings in comparison with runners like Anfields Rocket, At My Command, Cousin Casey and of course Charles Dickens - but it may not be as straight-forward as See It Again (if he runs) may prefer further

Mind is made up, Shoemaker (MR-114) at 66/1, surely can't go belly up even if he doesn't make the final field. Conversely, hoping the gelding will "do the trick", and he goes the Jubilee route. Admittedly there are doubts he will see out the trip, but there has been a few winners of the race you were deemed suspect getting the distance. Should he make the final field, doubt he will jump at the current odds.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

As I said in another threat, at present Hoedspruit (28/1) is the value ....

Guys be aware of Seen It Again for the HDJ.
Striker just mentioned that the Daily News 2000 is the mission for the horse.

I admit I know nothing about how 'they' are pricing up - but explain this - in the Legal Eagle Stakes to be run over 1800 next Saturday, Pomp & Power is set to give Hoedspruit 2,5 kgs - and the A/P betting at WSB has them at 5/1 and 4/1 respectively - in the July (on current ratings) P&P will give Hoedspruit 6 kgs - yet the A/P betting has them at 10/1 and 45/1 - I have lumped on Hoedspruit at that price
