I see Hollywood's service is back to normal, did a deposit , emailed proof of deposit because FNB is down , emailed proof of deposit again, emailed proof of deposit again and no reply to any of my mails and cash still not in account

same here...was going to study and take a few best but not in the mood now lol...went shopping this morning and POS machine worked fine so this maintenance things boggle the mind:blink:

Has this been resolved since?
Its been 2 day and the deposit has still not cleared, Ive contacted your helpline and send through POP as per their request. No response since or resolution.

I made a deposit yesterday- Standard Bank to Standard Bank, and sent an email with POP. Get an email reply that "it will take 1 business day". Followed up with a phone call today to be told "its in the queue" but confirming the money is in their account.
two hours later, still no credit.
Talk about pathetic service. In this day and age there should be straight through processing with almost immediate clearing of accounts.
I suspect that they deliberately make it difficult in order to pressure clients into keeping higher balances on which of course they collect the interest.
In the meantime, the horse that I wanted to back has shortened from 11/10 to 8/10. As a matter of principle, will not take this bet with them as the same price available elsewhere from firms that have not stuffed me around.
