Howells wins with a 25-1 shot(and according to Vee Moodley he wasn't confident)and now runs fourth in a six horse field with an even money shot.If Secret Captain doesn't like the poly then he should have been scratched. But there where a few clanners who liked Crowd Pleaser.

You can thank GC for moving the racing to the poly not Vee, Duncan, jock or horse. Who the f... is Crowd Pleaser ?

Durbs you come from the area and seem to know something about racing. How many races are there with this f up program to prep horses for bigger races in GC country ? Im talking about the turf not this f poly.

8 years 1 month agoyou million percent correct neigh hence the decision mdk and tarry to prep horses in joburg for natal features..janoobi went straight back to joburg after his last win...when mdk closed his yard here that was the final strawneigh wrote: Durbs you come from the area and seem to know something about racing. Also, I imagine the recent rains would have played havoc with many of the runners 'final preps' - so plenty of upsets possible imo
To be fair to Elusive Silva, while most of the field was being ridden, Delpech barely moved on him so could have won by further. His last 2 starts suggest he may well have improved from his earlier form and certainly the extra distance of the July will suit.
I guess we will see tonight  Despite a wide draw, I prefer Banner Hill to ES and one that I would include in everything is Ten Gun Salute
Spot on Frodo.........T.G.SALUTE.
