Please read the rules carefully

world sports betting clearly mentioned on their site that ALL bets will stand

if you want to cancel/void the bet you must contact them before 10 minutes to the start
punters had enough time to determine if they wanted to cancel /void or not

let's be fair and not bash the bookmakers for nothing

what you refer to is not the rules - the applicable rule is rule 20 of the gambling board (change of venue r track) - races are deemed to be ABANDONED

WHAT YOU ARE REFERRING TO IS wsb ONCE AGAIN MAKING THEIR OWN RULES TO SUIT THEIR POCKET - NOT ALLOWED

Quite right - I just assumed my bet would be cancelled - amount not big enough to make a big thing out of it - but surely someone must feel aggrieved enough about this to take it further

The Gambling Act will have jurisprudence over any of WSB rules.

Did you by any chance ask for a refund by email or any other means ? If I was you you should stating the gambling act but then you will have your account closed

If they decide to null and void the races obviously there are going to be people who will get upset if their bet won and now just get their money back

TGS was my July horse last year. Did not put a dime on in last night. In fairness I did not punt anything last night as well.
