The system does not fancy anything today, so it's given me a bit of time to look at the profit and loss statement.

R20 win bets

Loss of -R31.30 or -1.565 betting units. Strike rate 2 from 7 or 28.57%

R40 place bets

Loss of -R27.08 or -0.677 betting units. Strike rate 5 from 7 or 71.4%

For today's Greyville Poly meeting, the system fancies...

TRANSLUNAR in the 2nd race and POLAR TRIP in the 3rd race should these two start as Interbet favourites. POLAR TRIP looks like it's going to start as favourite so I should have at least one bet today. Hopefully the good recent form continues...

12 mins to the off..

TRANSLUNAR is still the 2nd favourite even though currently significantly more money has been bet on it than the favourite.

1. TRANSLUNAR R62466
3. CASCIANO R11483

Whats going on here?...

It's not crazy about horses that have not run fairly recently. 65 days since last run so it chucked it.

3 mins to off and money continues to come for my fancy, it may even start as favourite.

it jumps as slight 2nd favourite, no money down....

Result Posted
TRANSLUNAR - Winner
CASCIANO - 2nd
ESCOVITCH # - 3rd

Once again my fancy wins without my money on it. The "must be favourite" filter will have to be loosened up a bit on my next experiment I think, but I will stick with the current selection criteria until my 20 bets are done.

22 mins to go and POLAR TRIP looks like it's going to start as the favourite on Interbet. R43774 bet on it so far, some one out there likes it too...

Cormack chokes on the hot favourite and the bookies are smiling...

Result Posted
COOL ENCOUNTER - Winner
MOGOKITY - 2nd
POLAR TRIP - 3rd

I make R4 profit on my place bet as the tote place paid R1.1 and lose the R20 on the win bet. It feels like when I back them they lose and when I don't they win. This game keeps playing these kind of mind games...

20 mins to the off, it looks like a solid favourite. R14982 bet on it already so it's getting some support.

The price of the favourite has been drifting a bit throughout the day which worries me a bit. Hopefully it's just mean better value for me.

11 minutes to off, R40 place bet done on the tote. I'm waiting for the Interbet win market to drift a more to get better value..

2 to minutes to off and R20 put on the win at R2.55 on Interbet.

I watch on my live streaming to see Gavin bring home the bacon in fine style. What a boytjie!

FIRST DANCE - Winner
LAST BATTLE - 2nd
SHANNON`S BOY - 3rd
