Should be a max and min amount that can be spent on a defence and prosecution,if it was a normal person of limited wealth they would be convicted and biting pillows by now..

Bob no matter how rich or poor if the defendant is a bad witness(I think OP is such as he suffers from verbal diarrhea) no counsel can stop him from digging a grave. This chap should answer the questions instead of trying to recreate the many versions(rapid fire, tap tap, accident, one fan two fans etc) to suite the question. Poor Roux as his client is doing him no favors and the cross has barely started - I bet tonight OP turns onto CH 199 to hear the round table to find out what he should do to counter The Bull-terrier that has him and his versions in his jaws. The best part about this trial is that his evidence is there for all to hear including those that defend him without looking at the law which is clear on when and how you may discharge a firearm

I believe he will not see the inside of a Maximum Security Prison.. They will claim the fact that due to his amputation he is not fit to be in a Hardcore Prison like every other murder in this country and they'll place him in some Low Security 5 Star Hotel Prison with all the rich white collar criminals..

or

He will take a cowards way out, and end his own life.

Has there been any evidence so far that shows it was premeditated murder?

I'm not sure Soodum. It would be very difficult to try that now imo. It would mean firing his legal team who has presented an acccused of sober senses sice Feb2013. The new legal team would then have to say he was 'ill'.

But that would cast a very dark cloud over OP's integrity. I think he is on the wave now and will just hve to ride it out
