KALLIS retires

King Kallis has retired from test cricket,effective after the Durban test.Thought he would have retired from one dayers before test cricket.Been a stalwart of the team and will be missed as an all rounder.Superb ambassador for the game.....

Think we have enough depth/talent to replace him with. Will not be missed. Was a stalwath but not indispensable.

Pity he retires in these circumstances probably not being his decision...there where times when he was the cornerstone of the PROTEAS, a great ambassador...THANK YOU Jacques...the public has short memories...you still are one of the greats...

the greatest all rounder ever next to gary sobers and he wont be missed?????????????he cannot be replaced and test cricket will never see another like him ....the whole balance of the test team will never be the same ...legend
