It was his horse but was not the horse that should have been racing as the passports were confused when BOTH horses(ownede and bred by Mr Adams) came into his yard

Thanks mr H, (not trying to be funny )
My question is still ( the chap leading the horse in ) still did not know the difference between his /the horses ??
Do these people own so many horses that they really do not know them ? or are they just stable hands that work with them ?

So the Horse Identifyer has been dismissed which I do nor have a problem with. Now what about the rest e.g. the one that employed & trained her in the job. Did she suddenly become scared of Horses, maybe the scapegoat has been found and dealt with.
The owner comes across on TT as a person that knows his Breeding and is passionate about this game which does not neccassarily mean he has intimate knowledge of those he Breeds.Surely his Stud Manager AND Trainer should be able to identify the Horses under their care as THEY work with them on a daily basis.
I cannot agree that the Passports are rough and ready because that is all that was used untill the advent of the wonder Chip, which by the way as far as I know is only the second check after the Passport check.
No matter what PERCEIVED damage Charl Pretorius was supposed to have done to Horse Racing this RINGER incident is FAR WORSE. Come back Charl because by comparison you are a saint, as well as ALL the others that were similarly treated e.g. Gavin Venter, Smiley Moosa, 2Cents, etc, etc, etc.

If what I see above is true, and onkly one person has taken the fall, it is a disgrace to SA Racing. Surely the trainer and all his assistants know each of the horses in his stable intimately? If not, there is something seriously wrong...
Utter rubbish and bullsh!t. This is bound to happen again and again.... and probably has in the past when we did not know about it.
Fog the punter, the new national sport in SA

?......so they shafted their weakest link.......wrong person for the job......I hope they learned something from this embarrassing saga......really thought the trainer would get the flack ......mind you he has got some big pull...in that a serious owner has got his back.......
