Exactly Striker a tactical rider.....dose not like similar tactics used against him....

Nothing wrong with the Lerena ride..........a big thumbs down to Striker imo

Race coming up on 239 for those not at the office -

Fact is what Striker has forgotten about horseracing and being a jockey, Gavin Lerena must still learn. Lerene tried to win by drifting first ever so slightly to the rail, and after stopping Strikers run to the line, Striker had to go around Lerena, and Lerena did the same thing again by carrying Striker to the inside, obviously intervering in order to stop Strikers clear run.

That is a professional foul and Gavin Lerena should be red carded.

Had Striker taken the non-existing closing gap on the inside, both jockeys could have gone down as Striker was obviously on the better horse and they both could have been seriously injured. That is the point you all missing.

Sorry boys, my money is now and for ever on the blond bomber, Gavin tried to cheat Striker out of this race. These guys know how to win or lose a race by a whisker, and Gavin’s conduct as per my opinion was off bad taste.

Now crucify me.

Striker remain one of my fav all time jockey. It no change the fact that he do these many time hes self. Cowboy dont cry no?

In my opinion on the head on,there was enough room,striker was hard at work on his horse a long way out, at that point Gavin was going better and was in front, at the end of the race if Gavin's horse starts to hang,is it not that the horse is tiered or had enough .

There is an enquiry into the incident. Pierre had to ease between the 600m and 400m and then come inside Gavin. Interesting to see the result of the enquiry.

I didnt like the way Striker reacted, but still a masterful ride to get up nonetheless

i agree its a sport at the end of the day and its fantastic to see the competitive nature in both jockeys ,the sport needs it and nothing better than seeing both jockeys will to win...
