I believe give any trainers decent horses as de kock gets they will be in the top 5 take joe soma starting to get a name for himself by getting decent horses from jooste. No doubt in my mind if craig and james had those horses from jooste they would be rite up there

i agree. Out of all the stock de Kock has he never had a runner in the guineas. It would be sinkening to see how many of his A grade horses dont see the track

Thank you Brasss/onyerway for the vote of confidence. The only thing now is you are going to get some of the other posters having a go at you for daring to insinuate that the horse actually has the most to do with winning races and not the trainer or jockey.;):D

@SAFBETTINGCLAN in James G thread, Turncoat a clubfoot sold for R1000 to Mark Watters won a nursery for him and was sold to Sangster and trained by Herman Brown Snr. The Guineas favourite was Man of Property at 18/10 who did a tendon in the race. Expertise was the other Brown horse and a 1400 specialist. He had beaten the highly vaunted Millard star Santos before. Santos broke down and was rated as one of the best TM ever trained. The finish was very close between Turncoat, Bodrum and Man of Property and the rivalry between Turncoat and Bodrum huge thereafter.
