He isn't well treated but let's see how he runs.
On that run, Horizon now MR 102
exactly as I rated this run............ and ran to an 83 last time out
I guess 3 year olds are able to improve
....yip,but at about 1 lgth a month for the last 50 years

Jokes aside ,I think that "technical" rating of 102 might not hold up ..........those 2 fillies are probably a bit overrated on the day and maybe Fifty Cents too(I have a put a ? next to it in my book.)

Lol that pace rendered any horse coming from the back a mere spectator

How can I continually be so horribly wrong about the Crawford horses?!?!?!!?!
Badly bumped and checked around the top turn but still, absolutely no kick.

Nice win by V Marshall who trained the sire Captain Al to win the same race many yrs ago.
I am out of my exotics now,but at least now i know table bay not enough to win this grade one.

Craven crashed Into Bishops Bounty at the start and both didn't travel well for a while after that, looked very uncomfortable for a bit so not surprised didn't have much at finish. Not many did except the winner and second horse

Can somebody explain why it is that the South African Racing (Clean Feed) keeps on jumping back to an empty parade ring instead of letting us see lead-ins and hear interviews?
Is that their definition of the clean feed? Very annoying!

Not sure if that told us anything about the 3yr olds - Superman set his own pace and still Table Bay just hung on for 3rd - could be one of those rare occasions where the Cape Guineas form may not stand up

Very disturbing but not unexpected to see the three group feature race winners from the natal winter season flop and the first four past the post didnt even set foot in natal as 2yos ....
