Both Leon and myself have been invited to the judges box to view the photo. They are very happy to show it to us on the HD screen they have. The visit has been sanctioned by the chief stipe and no one has put any stumbling blocks in our way. Wayne Simpson (who I have known since 1972 or so as was ahead of me at College) has assured me that when the line was put on D4D's nostril the other horse's nostril is in the line and when put on his nostril, D4D's does not touch it. He reiterated that we are very welcome to go and see it anytime. I don't think they would be so happy to show us if there was any doubt what so ever of the result. They could have called a deadheat but then on their evidence it would have been the wrong decision. As I said previously, I hoped for D4d straight after the race but called it the other horse. What more can I say.

9 years 1 month agoA reproduction is never the same as the original. I'm sure the original is available on course to those that enquire, Craig?keniza999 wrote:dilligaf wrote: Yip the photo provided, is it the original? Maybe visit the Stipes and ask for an original then make up your mind. Assumptions are the mother of all f#@k ups!

As I said, Leon and myself have been invited to see the original and the process.
