You can clearly see the other horses nose at the top.

That's the problem with racing, too full of old men who can't even see properly :silly:

I have no interest one way or the other, but if that photo is the only evidence on which 9 was declared the winner, I can't agree - reason being that because of the darkish background, I can't clearly see where the 1's nose 'ends' - to me there is no clear evidence that the 9 won and so it should have been called a dead heat  ....unless of course a blow-up shows clearly that the 9 won, but from the picture posted, one can't be sure

Frodo, I agree had a small ew bet would have loved DFD to have won (for Craig as well.)
You and I know that sometimes this is a cruel game. You win some and you loose some. And yet you and I are back every week

Why does the judge not put up the photo with the lines separating the noses and showing the marginal difference?

However even with the naked eye it appears to be a no-brainer that the No.9 did not lose the race . Stupid to think otherwise really. :silly:

I couldn't separate in real time ,nor even in the ordinary slow motion ,however in the "close up" slow motion it looked like the "nods" favoured the 9!!!!!!
