Interesting response from the stable .....................it doesn't surprise at all that the track was in "holiday" mode ....................our tracks are often inconsistent - and watching the early races it was apparent some horses were "treading water"

@lol Magi.................the grass had not been cut (every body on holiday ??) so was very dead and I mentioned after the 4th race yesterday that some horses looked like they hadn't been out the box for days (going up and down like treading water)............capiche

I don't want to be the wrench in the works here as I think the punters c suffered but after the CG win both Andrew and Gary admitted that v they n used the wrong tactics and that horses were not running on from behind. Gary wanted him to settle and run on if possible.
That combined with the layoff would have explained the bad run?
Again, not trying to make excuses but perhaps not as bad as we might think?

I think Julie know that they wear not having a go,but could not say that on TV,she tipped the winner I think,to me she us dishonest and should be suspended to teach her a lesson, as for me I'm the biggest C...t that took all me doubles with is with the winner of the 8th race that was 8/1, I'm still kicking my self why I needed to take a 3/10 in my bets. Julie should rather not have presented on that race, ban her I say.

They had a go , believe no stories or conspiracy theories . Some closely linked family and friends did their maximum on the stable double

Yet Julie, tips against it. I'm sorry but saying stable punters did their balls too sounds like post facto damage control to me.

Julie was trying to help the public but she must now be in hot water with the stable for sharing the info

Her intentions were noble you're right. Either noble or just not well thought through, consequence-wise. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt.
Edit: it's incidents like this one here that make me feel that I'm stupid for and am being laughed at by most owners/trainers for being dumb enough to bet SA horse racing in the first place.
From the few owners I know (friends of family) I get the strong feeling that they think that punting is low class , you will get raised eyebrows if you say you bet horses or ask for betting tips. I think that sentiment makes their level of concern for the punter even less.
There definitely are gems among the SA owner/trainer group , I don't want to tar them all with the same brush.
