Fully agree. The winning horse looked beat and buried 50m out. Let the guy show some emotion, Triple Tiara winners don't come round every year. He corrected his call immediately so give him some slack

Its great to show emotion but that is personal. His job is to paint a picture for the public....not to bring his personal feelings and bets to the fore when commentating. Otherwise he shouldnt commentate......he should do something elsr

If you like his commentaries ,good for you ,but many don't ..............matter of opinion and we all entitled to one!

(some way out Nico called Sirens Call as the winner of the Triple Tiara..............check the records .......it didn't!)

I honestly thought Siren's Call was home.. Then Shizz happened.. The reaction in the tote I was at said it all.. A real stiff one..

The point here is that a commentary is not intended to be a bit of noise added to a picture...............it should give a clear "picture" to anybody who is only listening..............................to anyone travelling in a car and only listening to the commentary,it was a shocker!
