It pretty much shows up that powers in control would rather keep people who have a history of making cockups, whether it's the selling of racing's assets like racecourses and lights etc, to driving away punters with the continual mediocrisy that prevails.
In my opinion commentator Smiley Moosa should have been reinstated, a long time ago,his " crimes " are after all miniscule compared to those of the real perpetrators.

lol Dave, I was the stable jockey for Vagina and liked nothing more than jumping on her. Did very occasional work on the filly Arsehole but I would ride Big Tits a lot more frequently, we seemed to get on really well. Not so with Buttocks, had to keep using the whip on her ;)

I refused to ride Poof, Wanker or Prick but can think of a few who might have...!

Apologies to any sensitive souls!

I thought Nico did fine.

In all honesty 90% of us would have called Siren Call the way it went past Pine Princess.

from 400m out you could not be confident if Sirens Call was going to get there, both her and pine princess were under severe.. the only bad thing about the call was telling the whole world the sirens call was the Triple Tiara winner

If he had said something like, "shes` going to get there" "shes going to do it" then pine princess is fighting back

Not " shes the triple crown winner" then ......

EXACTLY.............he commentates what he thinks will happen (or to suit his bets) far too often(mostly wrongly) and that is not his job ................sadly for Nico they use that shocking Summer Cup commentary in one of Tellytrack's adverts ...........listening to him commentate the winner coming to beat the horse he backed, qualifies as one of the funniest commentaries of all time!!............he must cringe every time he hears it.

I recall the year that Randall Simons won on the lesser fancied De Kock horse, the commentary sounded by-the-by
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

He had tipped Mother Russia for weeks up to the race ,and I am told that he had a full go, but she was caught and passed by Flirtation(her stable companion) in the last 100m!
