I`m a member of a few racing and sports groups on social media and Tarzan Rugg(they call the son that because he likes to argue with grooms) posted a pic in one of the tipping groups (nice pics) .
But when one of the members asked him what was the best of his runners very politely , he was told sorry but all information is for owners only.
All he needed to say they all have chances and blah blah in race blah is probably the best of ours.
No point in embracing social media if your not willing to be transparent, especially in Flamingo with all it`s problems

I know this has been debated at length but I would rather have "no comment" rather than the standard blah blah blah.
What we need is the NHA to monitor and enforce the Consistency and "run on merit" rules and we will be good.
Too much of the blah blah blah is exactly that !!!!...........................lol
Maybe my 40 years in the game has made me cynical(mind you,no maybe about it...lol)but anybody who feels guided by a comment such as "horse is doing well at home and we are hoping for a good run" , is either naïve or very new to the game! :woohoo:

Enough of this already -" Important Gallops?" !! There is a rule book and every week it seems Jockeys are leaving early to ride in another center, or getting of mounts for family commitments etc for really no good reason. Now the punter , who has calculated his bets using Jockey A as rider, suddenly sees jockey B is riding for no good reason after that Jockey has agreed to ride a week ago!! - Suspend them for a week at a time until they learn to obey the rules - You cannot grow or even maintain the betting turnover when you diminish the skill aspect.
