I see according to tabonline, Tuesday nights meeting has beed postponed to Wednesday due to the memorial service for Nelson Mandela.

have they announced the Clairwood meeting on the 15th has been moved yet?

and rumour has it that sundays meeting at clwd the 15th to be moved to the 16th december due to madibas funeral....with the rain forecast for dbn this week if 10 percent of it arrives the greyville meeting for the 13th will definitly be off ...

the meeting has already been removed from the NHRA website,so not sure if they are gonna move?

No one has informed us of any move.

If accuweather is correct no racing will take place ,90% heavy rain tues & wed in jhb

I know this is the first meeting in Gauteng where the reversal of the 6 points MR increase comes into effect - still there seems to be some big variations - e.g. in race 9 Erin was a 78 (and even an 84 last Nov) - now down to 65; in race 8 Golden Dawn was an 87 before the increase; now down to 80; Music Affair was at 86 (before the increase), now down to 80 (after runnning just over 5 lengths to Espumanti at level weights) - could lead to even more 'suprising' results - although I have to say that the Matilda's Love result on the weekend will be hard to top :

Frodo,look on the bright side -if it wasn't for these anomalies ,opportunities wouldn't arise.
An interesting situation will be any 3 yr old whose rating was raised in the last 4 months using an older horse as the line horse.
The line horse will theoretically be reduced by 3kgs and the 3yr old will remain as is (ie 3kgs out at the weights for a while)
