Met 2013, Feb 2nd

Soon we will start thinking about the Met again. For those interested herewith the weight formula:
1. a 3yo: 53Kg, and if winner of at least one Gr1 (for 3yos only) then 53+1 = 54Kg
2. 4yo and older : 58Kg, and if a Gr1 winner (any kind) then 58 + 2 = 60Kg
3. female -2.5Kg
4. all non cumulative, penalties from prev 18months only, all fixed at publication date

after watching summer cup i cant see any jhb or kzn horse running a place in the met.jackson will win and minor places all cape town horses.

Recent runs of the Met have all been spoiled by slow pace tactics aside from Iguru's triumph and PP the race has gone to lesser horses that that have won the race on default.....let the up country and KZN boys have a crack at turning on the pace so that that Jackson has a chance of running down the milers ......

since they changed the conditions of the race the best horses have won it several times pocket power igugu and pockets sister to name a few...this year a 2 horse race the top 2 in the country

Oscan only Sportingbet has priced up that I can see and are offering 4/1, which I feel is a nice price.
Unlucky with Saxony yesterday, he seemed to peck badly at about the 1400 don't know if that through him off a bit. I am sure he will redeem himself soon for you.
