craig as an outsider looking in its very saddening to see so much provincialism in racing and unless everyones puts their egos own agendas ulterior motives self enrichment manouveres away and start rowing in the same direction for the benefit of the industry countrywide then the game will continue to detioriate...its one industry and one country and we have enough opposition from other sectors of the economy to have this continued infighting between provinces

Pirates, you will never stop provincialism as 1 will always think they better than the other. It does not mean we dont want racing to prosper. I will not sit back though and watch my fellow Natal trainers who have supported GC through the bad times being pushed out or having some people try and do it for outsiders( who would not have given us the time of day a few years ago) that now want to come here and reap the benefits. You should know that most Natal trainers have been through a bad time with the stakes here when we (GC) were battling and now that we have money they want a piece of the action. Kotzen, Govender and Tarry excluded from this. Natal trainers to be given a chance to get back on their feet first then we can talk. Our loyalty to GC in the bad times must be repaid in loyalty to us. There will be no compromise on that.

Well sadly, the KZN trainers make sure any visiting trainers leave as *soon* as the "season" ends, and opening a satellite yard in KZN is virtually impossible. Gauteng racing welcomes the KZN boys with open arms (and the small battling trainers and owners at the Vaal suck it up). Welcome to Gauteng racing Mr Adams, may your horses race often and prosper!
