englander..not sure if he would have beaten either of them..but judging by the ground he was making up and the interference he recieved..there is a good chance

I said to Anton when he asked before he even went in that I he was in trouble. Hung across MJB for 200m+ as he was starting to run on and then he was eased and came again to be beaten half a length or so. Will a young horse really run on to the best of his ability when another is hanging across him for 1/4 of the course?

In truth Justin, I stood to win a lot more on Jelly and though it was finishing well it just didn't appear to me that it was going to get there and I had given up hope and was concentrating on Contador, that is a sure indication to me it was very unlikely to happen. Anyway, I am now just seriously "out of control" mentally with these reviews and may be I don't see everything as others do any more, they've just done me too many times. I hear what the likes of Mr H says and I accept that by the letter of the law he may be right on this occasion, though I confess I am far from convinced, but the main point is really as Homer says... it comes down to consistency, give me consistency and I won't feel hard done by, right now just about every review that is conducted leaves me fuming... I guess if they went my way every time I might feel differently but they ain't!! :?

Thanks Craig, for your view and post. As I said, I had some money on MJB and I felt he could have won today.
I am 100% sure he would @ the least have beaten OTTIMO...I had no money on CONTADOR but feel if it ran straight,he would have
had a tough time keeping MJB behind
What I can't understand is why people just refuse to see it the way it was

I had a re-look at this race. Contador started shifting towards the standside at about 300m from post. At no stage did any rider check or stop riding (including My Jelly Bean) and there was no contact. At about 100m the rider of MJB moved to the inside of Contador and made his run - never checked or stopped riding let alone contact. A different day it could have been another result - bottom line is Contador should have stayed on a straight line and could have won by 1-2 lenghts.

Had money on both and never felt MJB was going to get there, maybe I only picked up on it too late... but as I stood to win a lot more on Jelly then I don't think I want to watch again. Having backed the winner that was thrown out and backed the one that was interferred with but doesn't get the race, to finish with losing bets all round just feels wrong! 8-)

Sorry Pirates, hadn't see Craig's post when I posted

ENGLANDER, i would think maybe 100m,but if you could not see MJB gaining then possibly CONTADOR was slowing?
To be fair MJB only lost by 1/2 ?
