SA Cricket selectors

Please I implore you to drop Morkel, Boucher and Prince immediately. These three are now "finished" as international cricketers. If they were playing for a nation like Zim, WI or NZ who have no ambitions of been the top side then they would fit right in. SA cricket is going downhill fast. England will smash us 4-0 next July if we are not careful.

...............and well done to the Sri Lankan side for giving SA a Right Royal thrashing.
Remember it is the same Sri Lankan side our South African pundits (Jackman, Kepler and Pompie) had said was NOT capable of taking 20 wickets in a Test.
Well, they thrashed SA in 4 DAYS.

CnC
I think SA's excuse for losing the match might be that the players are not use to the pitch..lol
It's time for some new players to be drafted into the team!
East
Sri Lanka showed their character & determination to win...well done.

Sri Lanka played well but not that well. IMO most of these SA players are just waiting for their next IPL pay day.

Agree -
they should start looking at the younger players. Results should be immaterial at this stage.
They must be given time to gel.

I would bring in Peterson as the opener and drop Rudolf to number 6 in place of that over achiever Prince. Bring in Philander for the lompus Morkel and play De Villers as keeper thus you can get in another all rounder into the side or even reinstate Duminey. But then Boucher, Kallis and Smith are the biggest of all buddies. So Boucher obviously stays in the team

I was over the moon when 'Captain Courages' retired from the shorter game. If he does not now retire from the 5 day game he should be pushed out. As long as G Smith is captain and in the team the Proteas are doomed to become a embrassessment, if they are not already there. Graham did not return to RSA directly after the last CWC, pity he ever came back. He and his cronies (Boucher & Kallis) are has beens and are ruining their reputations and in the process scewing our Cricket.

This is the 4th season in a row that the Proteas have been diabolical in Dbn. Fogwils what you say is ridiculous...GS averages 50 as an opening batsmen, is there a current opener that does that...JK averages over 55...hasbeens hey...stop talking nonsense and stick to the facts.
