How does MDK get so many winners?

...taking nothing away from MDK...he has revolutionised this industry and taken it to places that no one would ever have dreamed of.If it were not for him thinking outside the box and taking on horses in other countries we would still be in the dark ages as far as horse racing is concerned....but like a well plated dish that the top payer gets to see at the table....we never get to see what did not make it onto the WC menu...and it was Robbie Sage THAT went for that Honey Bunch family ...MDK went for that Evening Mist connection

Iam fredrick and this is my 1st post, although ive been lurking for a long time, iam amazed by the depth of knowledge and passion you guys have for the sport.

This topic is so interesting, i think the likes of MDK and MB preparation methods/programs for their big race runners have almost become "routine". If you use the July as a yardstick you will note that both have completely different approaches to the race however both with brilliant records.

Stats dont support Bass as even close to being on the list of best in Africa

...Mike Bass is at the top of my list....but the Cape boys lack the ability to overcome the logistical hurdles and find correct manpower to set up shop on the highveld and poach the prizes in gangster's paradise.....thats why they don't feature on the national stats....

Lets see when Bass can go win the big races in Dubai and at the same time stay top of the log in SA..then we can compare
