I picked the analogy at random. Could just as easily have been German sausage or Irish whisky. What I know about wine is that some are red, some are white, and all will make you pissed.

Lol.

I'm with Andre , Ginger Hill was under all sorts of pressure on Saturday and Anton was beating the hell out of her and alas she finds the inner force to get up and win going away.

Reminds me of the Millard and Heming days....

How do we rate Adian O Brien in world terms? Now add a little more and that is Mike de Kock.
Its not what you train, but how you get the max out of them, thats why he is the best

It's like saying Liverpool/Man U is the best FC in the world - depends on the players at the time(horses in the stable) Top trainers are like top horses - on the day the fittest and luckiest(in running) gets the loot -

MDK's training operation is like a 5 star restaurant....we never get to see the kitchen....or what lands up out in the bin...

Just remember Muhti he accumulated each "Michelin Star" by thinking out of the box and using basic principles - I remember him buying yearlings from families that he knew(I think honey bunch etc - from the family of a summer cup winner that he or Ginsburg trained) I remember him having a 'horse whisper' looking after one of his good horses at the Vaal years ago in the parade ring.
