Friday night - Bush Pirate

Just following on from some threads from yesterday - how is Bush Pirate allowed to run on Friday night, 7 days after he was stratched at the start for being unsound!?! No 14 day suspension? I unfortunately cannot find the stipes report...

perhaps vee can explain? i had a horse eliminated from a race in cape town a few months ago as he had been scratched from the start 10 days previously for not striding out

So - why does Bush Pirate get to run!?!?!? Can we please forward this to Vee, because issues like this are becoming more frequent and making a mockery of the entire racing game.

Looks like the bigger owners are driving the smaller guys out - maybe we need a break-away racing setup for the big guys (like the top 5 owners) and leave the smaller guys to race against themselves and adopt whatever rules they wish to imply.

Kind of like A1 racing vs F1

The small guy in racing, be it a small owner or a small trainer - both with less pull - are coming off second best continuously and incidents like this only make them sour; they are slowly going to be weeded out, because with the rules being bent against them, they just cannot keep up
