Why do we both to nominate in races where our horses qualify? We can just have the rules bent to suit our needs

AB - would like to hear a reply from Vee as to why this allowed. And next time i'd like to take advantage of bending the rules to suit any of our runners.

Is this stated in the rules? What's the point of rules if there are 2 conflicting ones and you can choose which one suits you? I thought a horse can only be reinstated before the 14 days by a NHRA vet if it was initially scratched by your PRIVATE vet, and not the NHRA vet. In this case the horse was scratched and reinstated before the 14 days by the NHRA vet - not quite the same setup as the Hidden Nest saga

Rules as per NHRA:

53.5 A HORSE which is scratched from a RACE on veterinary grounds shall be
automatically suspended from taking part in a RACE for 14 DAYS from the
date of the RACE from which it was scratched, provided that the SB may, on
its own initiative or at the request of the OWNER or TRAINER of the HORSE
affected, instruct a licensed veterinary surgeon to examine such HORSE and
in special circumstances, the SB may lift such suspension.

I'd like an idea of special circumstances as it appears that every rule by the NHRA has a get-out clause

sugahorse the hidden nest case was downright disgrace and abuse of the rules,as for bush pirate the jockey club vet scratched him at the start and he will check him for soundness before he runs..they can sue me if they please but we all know that hidden nest was fine all the time
