I must say that for guys living in SA Interbet in my opinion is by far the best betting system. The prices are excellent..the volume available is increasing all the time..they pay out very fast..their customer service is great..all the major sports bets are available and the tote bets are very easy to use.

Personally I would have thought that Phum should help SA companies to make these bets available to the UK market through for eg Interbet..thats how China and Brazil help their local cos grow and SA should be doing the same.

much easier when your starting point is 2 million customers with money already in their accounts. can't fault P's ambition.

From what i Can gather seems to be a one way street. Overseas betfair clients can bet into our pools. Does not mean that we can all now start opening Betfair accounts.

If this is the case leaves a person to wonder what sort of profit sharing deal has been offered, or perhaps they have been offered a back door in to the SA market or at least have been promised this.

Done a couple of shifts in the betting shop this weekend(unfortunately)and never took a single bet on South African racing,sorry took one bet,told the old guy in the shop to have a tenner on Mint green..

There is hardly any interest in SAF racing in the uk as seen with the tote placepot bet that started a while back..

Maybe because they dont show it on ATR or Racing UK. Lots of people now bet on the internet and like to watch the race run. Shops who have Turf TV which broadcasts SA racing tend to keep the sound off as there is dog racing going on at the same time.
