Selections for today's meeting, looks to be cancelled.

Interesting race for me is Race 2. The favourite, Miss Hanigan (3/1), beat The Charleston (8/1), by 3.0 lengths at level weights. Today The Charleston receives 3.0kgs from the favourite, so should finish much closer. Choice of jockey, van Niekerk, is most interesting. Stable jockey, Domeyer (58.0kgs), can't make the weight, and other stable jockey, Wright (52.0kgs), who can easily make the weight, has taken the ride on Winter Cloud.

There has been talk for two first timers, Articuno (7/1 into 7/2) and Royals (25/1 into 8/1). The raced horses do have an advantage, however one cannot rule out the chances of the money horses, watch for a follow through.

Going to row in with The Charleston.

.....these juveniles races can be tricky and there are more 1st timers in race 2 that may not yet attract betting support as they may be deemed to need more ground but if the course is on the softer side they can even fill the frame or possibly upset.....:whistle: ...will check how they go in race 1......
