TAB’s new Soccer 8 HF kicks off in Qatar

 

TAB is launching an exciting new soccer bet to coincide with the start of the World Cup in Qatar this Sunday.

Soccer 8 Halftime Fulltime (HF) will not only add to the excitement of the world’s best football tournament, it will also provide some great chances to land a big win with TAB.

Each Soccer 8 HF pool will comprise four matches. To win, players must forecast both the halftime result and fulltime result of each match, choosing from the standard three result options: 1 = Team A win; 2 = Draw; 3 = Team B win. The unit cost of the bet is R3 and a single or multiple entry can be played.

The cost of a multiple entry is R3 per combination.

The first Soccer 8 HF pool comprises the opening four matches at the World Cup:

Qatar vs Ecuador (18:00 Sunday)

England vs Iran (15:00 Monday)

Senegal vs Netherlands (18:00 Monday)

United States vs Wales (21:00 Monday)

The bet will utilise eight match numbers (M1 to M8) with an H do denote halftime and F for fulltime after each match number. Use odd match numbers (M1H, M3H, M5H and M7H) for halftime result choices in each game and even match numbers for fulltime predictions.

So, in the case of the first Soccer 8 HF pool:

M1H Qatar vs Ecuador = forecast your halftime result choice/s

M2F Qatar vs Ecuador = forecast your fulltime result choice/s

M3H England vs Iran = forecast your halftime result choice/s

M4F England vs Iran = forecast your fulltime result choice/s

Then do the same for the other two matches.

Please note that the bet must be called to tellers in TABs. Do not use the TAB soccer betting form. So as an example, call your bet as follows:

“Soccer 8 V1 (or V2 - this will be clearly shown with each pool). M1 numbers 2 and 3; M2 number 2; M3 number 1; M4 number 1” etc.

Last week the closest I got was 11 correct and that was for R8 from all my different permutations. I just put teams that I knew from various leagues.

The Soccer Any 13 pool reached 170k odd with a 100k add in over the weekend of 10 December 2022.

With all top leagues in hiatus, the leagues chosen are the second and third tier leagues.

With a R16 perm had 11 correct.

Took another for R256 and had 12 correct. Made my selections by bookmakers betting.

Tottenham Hotspur women was 5/10 but unfortunately lost 2 nil at home was my only blemish. They had numerous chances in the first 30 minutes and hit the goal posts twice.

No one managed to get all 13 with only 6 getting 12 correct. I had two of those, as I went for Everton Women to win and draw but the game got postponed. Consolation dividend of R3600. R7200 not bad but could have been 150k. Only hiccup was the Spurs Women game was in the Soccer 6 so could have taken a cover which paid just over R7000. If it was the last game I was waiting for or in tandem, I could taken a cover in the books to win some money back.

We happily lose our money in this bet every week, so why did they drop the carryover amount from R200k to only R100k? DON'T REPEAT THIS. PUY BACK THE PUNTER'S MONEY IN THIS BET.

When people at tote start acting like carryover money is their's to save, that is when we have problems.

4Racing new site, should definitely incorporate fixed odds sports betting. Mentioned it in the survey.

Interbet takes quite awhile to clear Soccer Pool betting. With Interbet you get loyalty bonus.

What I need to know is 4Racing has a loyalty bonus scheme. 4Racing has 3 betting sites. Do you have to wager your bet on Betontab to get the bonus or any of their sites?

Good to see they've put back carryover money of R200k into this bet for this weekend. Thanks for listening. Hopefully once the leagues are back to normal we can get back to building up this bet as nicely as it was progressing.

Normally on a Tuesday, fixtures for the Any 13 Soccer is published. Nothing at the moment. This weekend, Saturday there is hardly any matches in the UK or Ireland but on Monday, Boxing Day, there are numerous matches. Hopefully they do have the Any 13 and Monday fixtures can be included.

On another note, cannot find the Quartet payout for the World Cup and the official dividends for the other bets.

No winners of the Any 13 on Boxing day. 324k carryover. Came agonisingly close 12 out of 13.

Absolutely gutted though. Used betting has a guide and more or less I knew the log positions of some teams from the previous weeks. I initially had MK Dons due to them playing in the League Cup the previous week and they were 7/10 to 8/10 trading. At the last minute decided to see their league position and they where at the bottom half closer to the bottom so where their opponents Forest Green. Then I came across Preston North End trading evens but they were playing Huddersfield and last in the Championship League and previous to this game only won 2 points away and had the worst away record. I then proceeded to omit MK Dons in favour of Preston North End who were leading 1 nil but conceded 2 goals in the last 20 minutes or so.

As stated previously, you have better chance on a huge payday with Soccer Pool bets.

We try again this weekend. Barcelona, PSG, Manchester City all look good to win.
