Bob, economic rationality does not come into play. Buying a horse in SA is the dumbest economic decision anyone can make. The more horses you have, the more money you lose. So why would anyone be so crazy as to buy a horse, let alone a lot of them? It is because we love this game so damn much! It’s a feeling, not a thought. Like everyone else on this forum, horse racing consumes my every waking moment. May that never change! I don’t want my stupidity to ever end :)

.....wish that more of us had the type of investments where money dont really matter anymore.....softly softly would have got much more bang for those bucks....:dry:

......was very pleased when Lancaster Bomber was imported for stud duties.....however he is no more.....his crop on sale is sure to yeild a decent sort.....;)
