Free Form guides
Computaform is funded by the industry
Gallop is funded by the industry
Formgrids MUST be funded by the industry
Free Video archives
NHRA to investigate poor runs, not just "hyde" stuff with waffle

I am sure as punters/owners we are well aware of the importance of the Tote and the contribution to Stakes.
Purely from a punter, we need the fixed odds as a priority.
There is also a need for exotics and the pick 6 is always a challenge.
A dream would we a national exchange (punter to punter) to give a needed injection to the game and bring in the youth via computer whiz kids trying to pit their skills against others.
Good Punting

I feel trainer's need to be rated. If their horses are not competitive they need to get a warning or operate on a points system and increase the points for good runs and decrease for bad runs. Take the win and place percentages into account. Some shouldn't be training horses!!!! A horse should never need the run as betting public are putting their hard earned money on some of these under prepared athletes.
Some jockey's need to be shown race's where they are having a full go against their bad rides!!!! Sometimes I can't believe its the same jockey?

Some trainer's that are interviewed respond with a forked tongue. These trainer's need to be brought to book about this yet they are interviewed again without any explanation being offered!!!!

Racecards/form guides should be easily available
In the 70's. 80's and 90's you could get the Racecards after every meeting at the racecourse's gate
Almost every 7'11 sold racecards and the Turf Guide
One of the main reasons i haven't had a bet since the Cape Town Met was i have been strugging to get the Computaform Express in recent times
I was so pissed off that for the first time ever i could not even enter the MET COMPETITION

A reasonable bet without getting limited the second you back a winner. Are the public expected to only back losers? An opportunity to take doubles and trebles in advance of the meetings. ie 2 days before A horse on Monday into Tuesday into Wed etc. A reasonable Antepost bet not like only to win 5k then shorten the horse to a ridiculous price. What is the point of having betting up if you not prepared to lay a bet?
On a different note it is important to remember that the operators etc talk about product ie their products but they very importantly forget who is the product? THE PRODUCT IS THE HORSE. Who pays for the horse ? The Owners. And without them there is NO PRODUCT. This begs the question what do they get back monthly for paying 10k training fees for example? So they must just allow their product to be televised for free with nothing coming back to them but without their horses there will be nothing to bet on. Food for thought the model is flawed imho.
