Thank you for the response. Is this up for debate at all? For one, there are many people online interested in local exotics for Aus. Two, Tellytrack should be used to inform punters that the exotics are returning, if I watch the channel, there is no mention of it. The points of the gents above should be considered. Three, dilute the money? Does anyone really think that money suddenly disappears if lost at Aus in the morning and reappears for local racing? If there is enough money for local racing there is enough for consistent Aus betting. Four. You need to give the pools a few days at least to start growing. You can't offer local exotics randomly and expect the days it is offered to be a large uptake immediately. Make it a consistent offering and soon punters will start working it into their budgets.

The response to the request in this topic from the tote, Bob. It is surely by now outdated and it is time for a reversion to the normal situation of local exotics on more than one Aus centre starting from 10am onwards?

I know that most people don't even care about this, and that's fine, but there are many that like the swingers and quartets on morning Aus meetings. It is time we stopped being treated like we are being done a favour by getting to play these bets.

There is NO logical reason why they do not offer these bets earlier than the current 11.30am start. Without rehashing ALL the reasons mentioned on this thread, the local pools on each race thus far when offered on the Aus meetings have been even better than the Ireland evening pools, and some UK evening pools.

We are being led by very HEARTLESS people. They don't CARE. They really doesn't CARE about punter needs but what gets in their pockets. Very SELFISH minded leaders.

Look at the pools for a single Aus harness race local exotics. This is on par with the entire USA local exotics turnover combined, PA included.

Bathurst race 6
SW 3171
TF 2891
QT 6902

Now this is the turnover on one race when punters have to guess if they're going to be able to play the bets or not. A blind man can see punters want to play this.

Really is "lockdown" even still a viable excuse? Is this a case of they don't want the people responsible for declaring local dividends to start work too early?

Two AUS meetings today, pools were amazing and only going to grow. They only started it at 11.30 though, and ended soon after. Why????

Sunshine Coast race 7 - A 6 Horse field!

SW R7641
TF R3905
QT R11074

Not to mention the extra local revenue on the commingled pools for the race that is driven by punters now paying attention to the race.

AGAIN, This is turnover on the race when punters have to GUESS when they will get to have a bet. When will this ignorance and arrogance end. I wonder if the BP is aware how much missed revenue opportunity there exists here?

Pools are good today due to payday weekend for most. Yesterday though the Jackpot Quick Mix 1 Pool reached 40k. I also notice that the night meetings in the UK, the Jackpot Pools is reaching 40k almost daily now.
